Your family deserves a Doula
Having a child or losing a family member sparks a ripple of change throughout one’s life, which can be overwhelming or scary. It makes all the difference when a doula shares her experience, physical care, suggestions and calm presence in times of stress. Doulas help turn these challenging experiences into the most loving, empowering and transformative moments of our lives. Your family deserves guidance and nurturing through life’s sacred transitions.

Some ways doulas can be utilized:
- Fostering independence in adults with cognitive disability
- Adapting to adoption, miscarriage or child loss
- Transitioning elderly to assisted living
- Emotional & logistical support for the terminally ill and their family
- Domestic assistance & physical recovery encouragement after surgery
- Preparing for birth, labor support & assistance adjusting to a newborn
- Companionship, errands & household chores for the solitary elderly

Birth, Postpartum & Overnight Doulas
Birth Doula services include:
- 3 prenatal in-person visits
- Unlimited text support through pregnancy
- Birth Preparation handbook
- 24 hr on call availability starting at 38 weeks
- In-person physical/emotional support for birthing couple & other children
- 1 hour care after birth to establish feeding & bonding
- Cost: $1,500 total, $500 upon registration, Payment plans available
Postpartum Doula services include:
- 1 prenatal visit to design your customized care-plan
- Care for baby while you rest, shower, nap, etc.
- Meal preparation to keep you nourished and hydrated
- Light errands or chores, like HEB, laundry & dishes
- Address emotional & logistical aspects for siblings
- Cost: $40/hr, Minimum of two hour blocks
Overnight Doula services include:
- 8 Hours in your home, additional hours for $40/hr
- Care for baby to ensure you are well rested
- Diaper & bottle duty or mommy-visits to breast feed
- Cost: $150/night or buy 5 nights for $650
Death & Domestic Doulas
Your tailor-made care plan may include but is not limited to:
- Meal Preparation in the home from a chosen menu or by request
- Respite Care, allowing family members to take personal time
- Chores such as laundry, errands, dishes, pet-care, cleaning
- Planning for end-of-life care, will, property, funeral & burial choices
- Help with celebration of life before death and/or Irish Wake
- Facilitate discussion/transition to assisted living, palliative care or hospice
- Rituals of Reverence at death
- Emotional & logistical support for family after passing
- Cost: $40/hr, Minimum of two-hour blocks
- Ask about the all inclusive "Passing Package" for $2,000 total
Doulas may offer specializations such as:
- Guided movement, stretching or somatics
- Sound Therapy
- Guided Meditation for relaxation or emotional release
- Massage
- Reiki Energy Healing or "healing hands"
- Add-ons priced by doula & paid through office, no private payments
